A couple of days ago I went over to my friend Aubrey's house. She invited me over to make cards. I have never made cards before, but it just so happened that about a month ago I picked up some scrap booking paper at Michaels that was 75% off. I had a lot of fun making cards so I decided to get myself some additional supplies and make some more. I think that I have found a new hobby. I am not that great at it but it is fun to try and be creative...something I always need to work on :-)

Jack's Mannequin
Last night we went to Jack's Mannequin, Chris's favorite band. Even with our TomTom we got lost three times:-) Well, the Internet caused the first because they had the wrong address listed. Then I took the wrong exit and when TomTom redirected us, he told us to take the on-ramp to the freeway and they an exit off the on-ramp that did not exist. We finally made it, and we did not miss any of Jack's Mannequin. Luckily we averted another tragedy. The tradegy of which I speak occured during the summer. We went to Jack's Mannequin and there was horrible traffic. We got there very late only heard about four of their songs. Needless to say Chris was not in the best of spirits for the rest of the concert. Jack's Mannequin opened for the Fray.
We were a little late to the concert which caused a problem for the vertically challenged, like me! I give you a picture below of my view. It varied throughout the concert, but I stood on my tiptoes a lot.

Finally
So I've decided to really start blogging. Initially I started the blog way back in April of last year, but then I seriously lost my motivation. Since I changed jobs and have free time every night I decide that I should start.
I have gone back through a lot of the highlights of the last 10 months or so. We only have about 5 pictures from the first 8 months of our married. I lost our camera when we were on a tubbing trip with some friends. I left it on a rock and when I went back it was no where to be found. Enjoy!

This was my Birthday present from my wonderful husband. I was definitely spoiled this year. I have been exercising in the morning, however, I was only doing strength training because of my stupid knee which makes me unable to run. I have really enjoyed using this the last few days. It is actually quite big but the back wheel section folds up and when folded it lines up with our couches. When I walked in and it was set up in the middle of the room I did not know how in the world it would fit!
The center picture was a Christmas present from my parents. It is a picture of the Boise temple and has our names and the date that we were married. I love it.
Christmas Vacation
I have always loved babies, especially when they are related to me. There hasn't been a baby in my family for a long time, but in March of last year my nephew Pierce was born. I think he is the cutest thing under the sun.
Football players
I'm still getting us to this blogging thing and I get confused when I put them in because I want to go in the order it happened but I have to go backwards, so these should be after the game but here they are now.
Chris loves sports of all kind but he especially loves football and basketball. This past December he convinced me to go to the Las Vegas Bowl. It did not really take too much to convince me because I like sports a lot as well. He are a few of the highlights from our trips.
We went to a buffett at the Rio Grande. It was huge and as you can see by Chris below we were SUPPER SUPPER full. I usually don't like to go to buffetts because I feel like I have to eat a lot to justify the cost, but just this once it was a blast.
We took a day off from selling and headed to six flags. We had a blast even though we got what Chris calls "medal sickness" after some of the crazy rollercoasters. Then I found this wonderful sucker! Ever since I was a kid I have loved big giant suckers. I haven't had one since I was a kid and I convinced Chris to let me have one!
